I bought these to stick under some bookshelf speakers that I have on a glass desk. Yeah, I know, poor placement on my part, perhaps in my next home I'll account for it. Anyway, four each to 16 pound speaker, vibration still travels on through the desk making some pitches just not great. I'm sure it's good for other applications, but I imagine I'm not the only one who intended to use it this way and figured I would say something before other people needlessly harmed speaker resale value (it does list speakers as a primary application).

These worked just fine for me. I used them to isolate my center channel speaker, in order to prevent unwanted vibration(s) that might interfere with the electronic equipment also placed in the same piece of furniture. Can't ask for more. Their size is more than appropiate and they stick firmly to the surface. No worries about them falling off.

I have a "vintage" B&O turntable on wood furniture on wood floors. Four of these Sorbothane bumpers under the turntable have eliminated not only the clunking sounds picked up from every step nearby, but more importantly they have silenced the microphonics the tone arm was producing at high volume levels. l used the other four under my subwoofer to tame a rattle somewhere in the floor or wall with similarly excellent results.
